Recommended Posts

Thought I'd show some before (brand new) and after (after farkleing) pictures. The last pictures are from last week up in far Northern CA archery hunting for mule deer.

Nice bike! You still happy with that Turbo City screen?

Looks great! Does the front fender brace help make the bike feel more stable at higher speeds? I've been looking for one but can't find anyone selling them.

Sarah, Yes still like the Turbo City Windscreen. It lets the right amount of air into the cockpit for our hot Northern CA weather. I've read about the lifting of the front of the shirt issue and have not experienced it. You can change the angle of the screen slightly by adding or subtracting rubber or fiber washers on the top or bottom attachment bolts.

I haven't tried any other screens to compare to yet though.

Dave, I wanted to keep the stock fender for it's size to keep the mud off.

The stabilizer works great. No more shimmy at higher speeds.

TPI is where I got it from, so it looks like you'll have to wait until they come in.

The plate and light combo came from Kientech. (kientech.com) Jesse's a great guy and very helpful.

It's a 650 and the tank is an IMS 4.9 gal. (also got it from Kientech)

I'm further north, thought you may have been in my neck of the woods. Great bike. Did you fling any arrows?

Actually I was hunting up in X1 zone (A3 Tag). We were by Timber Mountain north of Bieber about 30 miles.

I could have gotten a nice 2x2 but am holding out for something bigger.

We'll be going back the last week of Archery season. One guy in the group got a nice 4x2 out of a tree stand over water.

So, you were up in my neck of the woods! Great country to ride and hunt. I wasn't far from that area for about 4 hours the other day. No tag, just working. It's cooling down, that should help get those critters moving around a bit more. Good luck!
