supertrapp vs. XR's only exhaust

Recommended Posts

When I picked up my 83' xr500 it came with a supertrapp exhaust. Just latley I found a really nice used XR's only exhaust.

Which do you think would be the better exhaust to keep on the bike? The xr's can almost looks like a 2 stroke header. It looks like it may have a bit more testing/ technology.

Anyway... I'm leaning towards the xr's unit. Any info would be helpful.

I like my XR's Only Comp exhaust, its just an open pipe. Good for top end power, But it is loud.

The Suppertrapp would be good for tuning low end and mid range power.

We all know that the XR650R has plenty of low and mid power, but falls on its face on the upper rpm band. So I picked the XR's Only header and Big Can. Be ready to buy some bigger main jets when you get one of these pipes.

xr's can almost looks like a 2 stroke header👍
