adjusting forks

Recommended Posts

I have an 02' WR250F and I will admit I know NOTHING about suspension. The most I can do is adjust my rear spring lol. When I land from a jump or something my forks feel kind of harsh when I hit the ground. Is there a way I could make them more *plush* when I land?

You could soften up the compression dampining.

You should maybe try the opposite and stiffen them up, depending on your weight , they might be too soft and are blowing through the stroke when you land giving them the 'harsh' feeling, what do you weigh and when last was your oil in the forks changed ?

some of the wrs had a blow off valve at the bottom, the spring would fatigue and the fork get very mushy, i dont know if this applies to the 02?
