FMF Q2 affecting pilot setting?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to have an over rich pilot circuit with an FMF pipe that more than likely needs repacking? i mean does the bike run richer with a worn out ehaust?

i can turn my air/fuel screw all the way in but the bikes seems to run very well and it idles pretty good to should i wait to swap my pilot jet till after my repacking or just do it now and don't worry about the muffler?

i have a DR650 with the FCR-MX39 155 main 35 leak 40 pilot 100 slow air emp needle at the 5th clip wide open airbox fmf header and exhaust

Exhaust system has little to do with pilot setup.

Fire the bike up, get it to full operating temp. Slow the idle speed down as much as you can, then tweak the fuel screw. When done, reset the idle speed to a normal rpm.
