Lighter flywheel?

Recommended Posts

I was looking at a trailtech -16oz flywheel. Would that be better or worse for track riding? It said better response and good in soft power robbing terrain. But also said that adding weight helps you hook up better in soft terrain and pull stronger.

Yes it will do all that and give Less torque & will be more snappy when you twist it on. Im getting mixed up here is it lighter or heavier than stock??

Your post is lighter flywheel but you talk about added weight?? I have given a reply for a lighter flywheel and a heavier one would be more torque and less response.

I think it would mostly depend on the track layout and comdition, as well as your preference. Sounds like the pros out way the cons I would give it a shot and see how it is. If you like the quick throtal response for shooting out of the corners. Or do you want the torque for grabin holeshots and runing them down on the straits.
