ultimate mx hauler

Just picked up the ultimate mx hauler and found that the clamps that go through the pegs barley fit through the platform so i can just get the wing nuts on. Is this normal or am i not doing something right ? I have a 08 husky te 450,are the pegs on this bike higher than the japanese bikes ??

on my CRF450 I have an inch and a half when torqued down. Contact UMX and ask them for longer bolts.
