Mxing the WRR

Recommended Posts

I decided to take the WRR to the local track(40min away). Its hard pack clay so even with no knobs left it still went pretty good. I did find the front suspension on the soft side. I tried to adjust it but Ive always raced quads so I did it wrong lol. Still had a blast!

Half the fun was getting there. I hit 8 different kinds of roads/trails to get there. I hit the normal pavement county roads which led to gravel roads which led to an un-improved road. After that I took an old rail-road trail then hit the highway! After hitting some traffic in town we took an atv trail. That led to the track and on our way we decided to do some real off road in some muddy off road trails.

Such a versatile bike! I love it! From MX track to highway.

Glad to see I'm not the only one willing to do that. Wish I could take photos of myself though.. 👍

after owning a ktm 450 exc duel sport. I come to realize this wr is the true duel sport. I am riding it everyday. I use it to commute, trail ride, and everything in between. This bike is so practical. It does everything very good. I have a 2 stroke ktm, and a sportbike. Next year I want another 4 stroke ktm. But my wr is not going anyplace.

To anyone... if you've EVER had this thought... I highly recommend buying yourself a HelmetCam setup.

My situation is that I work in a techie field... and techies aren't normally into Dirt-Bikes... so many of my years of riding were going solo. But since I had to go solo... I made sure to go places that had a significant amount of other riders there just in case I crashed... the theory being that SOMEBODY would eventually pass by my mangled remains and "shoo!" the buzzards away. 👍

When you DO get yourself that helmet cam... practice using it a few times... specifically... you learn to point the angle of the cam much more upwards then you'd initially think it should be. Otherwise with the camera angle too downward your footage is irritating/annoying to look at.
