Oil level

Has anybody herd that you have to warm a wr426 up before you can check the oil level? Dealer just told me that.

That is a fact....When the bike sits for a few days the oil drains from the frame into the engine. You must let thebike run for a coupleof minutes to refill the frame and then check the oil.

This draining does make for less messy oil changes if the bike has sat for a week or so...then all you have to do is drop the lower plug and the filter. The frame bolt is such a hassle sometimes.
