CR125 Coolant Temp Question?

Recommended Posts

Can anybody tell me roughly what our coolant temps are at?

I found some colored hoses (not CV4) and the hoses are rated to

450 degrees.Nobody makes hoses for my bike due to age. These are

straight reinforced silicone hoses I can cut to length.

I have no clue what our temps are at their highest points?

Thanks in advance.......:D

Well, water boils at 100 degrees C (not sure what that is in F). So will be a little higher than that with coolant/water mix. Probably 100-120 degrees C before it starts to boil out.

Your water temp is waaay below 450f degrees. Maybe around 200f to 240f at best. The 450 is so that the rubber does not melt or soften too much in the vicinity of the exhaust.
