Best to attaching CR rounting brake line to 01-03 YZ250?

So what is the best to attaching CR rounting brake line to 01-03 YZ250 without buying the lightspeed fork guards?

Ride Engineering makes a sano kit that includes a bracket for your stock fork guard.

What brake line do you use if you want to update the routing? Does a CR brake line fit? Or can you use one from the '08 YZ?

I'm not interesting in changing the caliper or M/C. But I wouldn't mind getting rid of that crazy brake line routing on my '03.

I see that Ride Engineering sells a braided steel brake line and clamp specifically for the '96 - '04 models that provides the more direct routing.

Here is how I did it to keep the line from hitting the outer fork tube when the suspension is compressed:

The bolt heads on the inside are low profile, round Allen heads.

I think J rods solution is good. I bought a ride engineering clamp that looked a lot like his.

Do you have a problem with the lightspeed guards? They work really well.

I did it a similar way, except I made a small bracket off of the top caliper bolt with a small clamp on it to hold the line away from the fork instead of having a clamp on the guard.

No I'd just rather not spend the money on the guards, if it can be done for free.

If you buy the Tusk steel braided brake line (Its really a Galfer) it comes with that clamp I have on mine. Otherwise you can use the line clamp that is used to hold the brake line with standard routing method(The one in the front of the fork tubes by the bottom) Just find some bolts/nuts and do what I did with it.
