My old FCR is dead, will any parts fit my new FCRmx?

Recommended Posts

I need to know if the fuel screw from my old FCR will fit my new FCRmx> Also, does any other parts work? Can I use the same needles & jets?

Thanks, Rob

The f*#^king slide broke. I only paid $200 for the carb & a new slide is $130. Plus, I searched & found out that most of the time a new slide just brakes again :worthy:

your pilot jets may or may not be the same. I just figured this out last week. I bought a "new" old style fcr from cpw for my ltz. I needed a extended fuel screw so I ordered one plus some pilot jets from the tt store. When I got them didn't reconize jets. Called to clarifiy. The mx style carb uses keihins 424-21 series pilot jets and my "old" slant body uses there 424-25 series. good luck
