Dyno runs

Has anyone ever compared dyno results on their bike with the stock muffer insert in place, insert removed and then with a vortip? My '00 WR 400 currently has the throttle stop removed and no airbox lid with the stock insert in the muffler. Everyone always says that causes a HUGE power loss, but no one gives any actual numbers. I'm planning on adding the YZ throttle stop and cutting the grey wire, but I don't want a loud bike.
