bark busters

I can't decide which bark busters to get. I had Moose guards on my WR and wanted to try out the Pro Bends for my CR but I can't see spending over $100 on hand guards. Are the Pro Bends really that good? Are they better then the Moose guards? And also which ones should I get if I have Pro Taper over sized bars?

EDIT: The Moose Contour guards look good. But, which deflectors do I need? Will the regular Moose ones work or do I have to get the Contour deflectors?

Cycra Pro-Bends with the solution mount are a very good choice.

my cheapo tusk ones from rocky mountain work just fine. bust bark just like the expensive ones.

Mine worked fine too until a minor crash. Broke the inner mount (7/8"). The mount for the 1 1/8" looks ok. A search here for "Tusk" will turn up a pic of the same break on another feller's bike.

Cycra Pro Bends are worth every penny IMO. How do you put a price on your knuckles?

Cycra COMPOSITE Pro Bends just as good only less money!

Negative. They are weak! This was just a simple spill on a hillside, the kind of thing my EE guards have taken hundreds of times...

Tusk!!! Three years!!

Sure they have seen some Zip Ties

and two new bolts from the metric

bulk bin. I seem to find my self

on the ground every ride. I suck,

I just don't entirely believe it. These

things have seen more Rock then Richard

Pryor in the late 70's. Neversurfaced filmed

me dragging my bike down the rocks on them.

Still good. These may be the greatest value in

the OHV world. One broken lever that came underneath

as a point. Plus they sell parts!!! No other worthy choice

when looking for value.

  :p

I see you have the 1 1/8" type inner mounts not the 3 piece 7/8" type. Are they on big bars?

I have gave my probends some big impacts and so far they are holding up great. I have to get some new plastic end gaurds they are getting scraped up.

Only down side is fitting them, you must tweak them to get a perfect fit.
