L mule kicking question

Recommended Posts

Can't seem to tame the ass end of the L. Likes to kick me in the back of the head and try to flip me ass over tea kettle when given half a chance. I need a crash course in setting up rear suspension basics.

Haha. Mine does that too sometimes. I increased the spring preload to reduce the sag, but haven't adjusted the compression or rebound yet.

You need to adjust the black knob on the bottom of the rear shock. Not sure which way to turn it.

Your on the right tracK. My order of adjusting:

1.) Static Sag

2.) Race Sag w/ all your gear on

3.) Rear Compression & Rebound

4.) Fork Compression & Rebound

5.) Ride and iterate on 3.) and 4.)
