Mark Kariya is the best

There are a lot of great moto-journalists that have that special knack for getting great shots

but few can match Mark Kariya's eye for getting the shots that really grab your attention. :moon:

Take this picture in Cycle News that Mark took of Destry Abbott clinching his 5th title in

the AMA Hare & Hound series.

Flying through a boulder field like that tells you everything you need to know about the level of skill a champion has in the desert.

That picture has that slack jaw drool of amazement quality to it!

My hats off to Mark and Destry

sick! you gotta give it up to skill like that.

Abbott's a mad man, and props to mark for the awesome shot.

I don't know what's better, the content of the picture or the picture itself!

WOW!!! Thats insane!!!

I don't know what's better, the content of the picture or the picture itself!

That's what I am talking about.

The composition of the picture tells as much as the action captured.

Mark was probably using a telephoto lens so Destry probably never even knew he was there until after he rode past him.

You can see the dust trail coming down the ravine in the back ground that tells you he was hauling butt all the way to the camera and never slowed down or staged the jump.
