Here's a link for you. http://www.racetech.com/evalving/menu/searchdirt.asp

Thank you Old Man lol....that was exactly the information I was hoping for....

Your welcome. As you can see they ask a few questions you didn't have posted. With you say it will be like night and day when you change them out. Also think about having it revalved.

Yes, remember that the valving is currently set up for a specific load, and when you change the load (rider or spring) you have to change that valving to match. Just putting on stiffer springs will help a great deal with the front end push, and the constant rake change; adding correct valving to that will amaze you.

Ok will definately look into the valving side of things also.Just another quick one?...the site suggests that I use a fork spring of .52kg/mm yet upon visiting the store and checking 4 different manufacturers i seem to only find .5kg/mm?? am i missing something or are they just a specialised order item...

The Chart gives you the starting point, based on the math. Then you adjust that information to fit any changes (spring availability) brands (other brands like Eibach have more options) fine tuning (stiffer in the front for example), and cost (off the shelf springs are under 100.00, custom springs are 300.00).

Just round off.
