fly wheel weight

what all does a heavier fly wheel weight do?

It will slow down the response of the motor. Usually guys with YZFs will want to add flywheel if running in the mud, or if running in an enduro or hare scramble. It will also allow the motor to run slower and not stall out in tight or slow situations. On my 250F, it also causes more rear wheel chatter when applying the rear brake... the motor wants to keep pulling the wheel and so it bounces up off the surface and back down. It does not take away any power. In the mud it will help with traction.

Much easier starting !
