KNOB FOR ELECTRICAL SWITCH

Just got back from a weekend ride and realized that the knob on my 525 EXC electrical switch is missing. Looks like it rattled loose.

ANY IDEAS WHERE I CAN GET A NEW KNOB W/O BUYING A WHOLE NEW SWITCH?

Thanks

JN

An electric wire nut will work, pick your favorite color.

Same thing happened on my 450 EXC after the first ride. Can not buy just the knob from KTM, you must buy the switch assembly, about $8.00.

Riding trails throughout the world must be littered with these little black knobs. If anyone finds one, it's mine!

Just picked up a replacement switch at the local dealer yesterday and noticed that the threaded collar is plastic :) rather than the stock one which is metal. The part # (55011599000) was the correct one. I looked at all the EXC's at the dealer and all had the metal collar. I went ahead and got the plastic one, but I think I will still try and find one that is identical to stock. Any one know what gives here??????

I almost lost one once. It was on the last few threads when I pulled it off by turning the light on.

I made sure it didn't happen again.

Just consider it one more spot for red lock-tight. :)

Oh no, I only stuck mine on with blue locktite! :):D
