2007 WR 450 Jetting Issue

Recommended Posts

Eddie,

2007 Yamaha WR 450

1.

AIS removal kit

Airbox Mods

Gray wire disconnected

Stock pipe insert removed

2.

I commute 80%, offroad 20%

Temperature 35-85 degrees F

Sea Level

3.

Pilot- 48

Main- 162s

Needle- RGDDT (4th from top)

Starter Jet- 65

Leak Jet-60

Pilot Air Jet-70

Fuel Screw-2 out

4.

When I hold 1/8 to 1/4 throttle it surges.

Also has a pronounces bog (I just read about the o-ring mod and will try)

5.

Less surge when cold, not very noticeable

Air temp has not mattered

I have the bike taken apart to get ready to put it on the ice this winter. What jetting should I have for the winter 0-45 degree F and what should I have for the summer as I explained above. It would be nice to not change for each season....?

Thanks Andrew
