Dan from HB. Way to go man. I don't think anybody could have said it better. This is the greatest nation on this planet and has been since our Forefathers conceived it. Men who were willing to pay the ultimate price for our way of life haven't changed since. Neither has the citizenry for whom they have sworn to protect and defend. Immigrants have always taken the jobs others wouldn't so their children would have a better life. My grandmothers greatgrandfather, his brothers, and several other farmers from their village in Denmark, sold everything and entered into a contract to purchase, and farm land in SE Texas shortly after the Civil War. I'm an Equal Opportunity Employer and have found Hispanic workers are typically the best employees. Work and Family is their ethic. I feel sorry for many of my sons (19 yr old) friends. I'll hire one, he'll come out, work about 4 or 5 hours in the sun, boohoo about the work and the wage, then call his mom to come pick him up or not show up the next morning. He's seen several losers from the class of 78, who 20+ years later, come to me for work and do the same. These are my old high school friends and nothings changed. In high school and college it was a summer job, it became a career. Without an education or a willingness to work hard, you don't stand a chance of being a success here, there or anywhere.
