Motogrande 12/26

Heading down there tomorrow if anyone wants to join.:busted: They are open from 12 - dark but Todd talked to Barry and said no problem if we got there a little early.:moon:

I have to work till 11 but may head down after. Im dying to ride.

Awesome!!

If you have never been there the track is fun with lots of jumps into and out of pits, really good kids track, a flat track, SX track (can't get on that without being an AMA Pro tho) and acres of flat land to ride on.

Are they still gonna be open after all the rain we got tonight, or does it matter at that track? I might be down for heading out there, but I'm still a little sick.

As of late afternoon they hadn't gotten any rain at the track.

Here are some pics from there:

I might be down for some Motogrande, looks like a pretty cool place to ride. It rained out here in Queen Creek, for about 2-3 hours today, so I figured it must have rained over there, too.

I'll call in to work in the morning, to make sure there's nothing going on, and if not I might head down there. Is it really only $20.00 to ride out there?

Cool pics, too Brett.

Yep only $20......$10 if you come with someone. You are welcome to follow us down....I am not sure if you have to be in the same vehicle to get the discount or not.

Alright everyone, I am yet another rider that has recently moved to AZ !  I am in Goodyear and still unpacking have haven't had much chance to look for areas to ride.  I have looked up the local motocross tracks but have no idea where to ride either in the desert or single track.  Still like to moto now and again, but the bike is set-up for trails so I don't moto very often.  Nevertheless, will probably get a bit more serious about riding in a couple of weeks once the house and garage are in order.  Looking forward to meeting some new friends and also finding new places to ride.

So many threads on here about how people say it's really easy to do in an afternoon.  I have seen people post up "Hey Dave, bring it over to my house along with a case of mickey's and we'll bang it out one afternoon".  Well, I dont seem to have that luxury and I called ECC and was quoted $1500 parts & labor.
Does anyone have any recommendations on where to take it?  I'm technical as in replacing clutches, changing oil, transmission fluid, new sprockets, chains, even replace seals on forks, etc.  but never cracked an engine itself open
I am in San Marcos.  Thanks.

To make a long story short I just moved back to Arizona after living in Hawaii for the past few years and I bought myself a used 08 KTM 250 SX. I haven't ridden a bike in roughly 3 years since my first bike was stolen while I was living in Hawaii. Anyways, I didn't have a bike when I lived here in AZ before so I am trying to figure what some good places to ride are. I am mostly interested in desert riding and preferably areas or trails that would be more beginner friendly. I didn't have a huge amount of time in the seat prior to my last bike getting stolen, so I want to take things nice and slow at first while I get back into the groove of things. I currently live in Wickenburg, so anything close by would be a definite plus. I had heard there are places to ride out towards vulture mine here in Wickenburg, but I have also heard you may need a permit of some kind to go there because its state trust land? Any info on this would be helpful as well. Thank you in advance.
