2008 250 R exhaust

Does anyone know if an 08 250R duel exhaust can go on an 06 250X?

I know that the plastics would have to be changed, but what about the airbox and overflow tank?

I may have answered my own question as there is no reservoir on the R and it appears that a duel exhaust would not go there unless the reservoir was removed.

you need:

new subframe

new rear plastics (side panels at least)

new airbox

new rear mud flap (depends on if you get the 08 box or the 06/07)

you'll also need to get all the hardware to mount the exhaust since the X does not have enough. Over flow tank would need to be removed.

You would need to use the entire back half the R: subframe, airbox, plastic, etc... to get the duals on. All of those parts are specific for the dual exhaust.

Then you will have to do some fab work to get the X wiring and battery mounted up in the R subframe and airbox.
