Time For A New Air Filter..

Bought the KDX day before yesterday and got it out this morning to start going through it for the new (used) bike fix or replace stuff session. Filter was as usual on a used bike, very dirty, so I proceed to take it out for a clean and re-oil. By the time I peeled it off the air box filter base and got it out, this is what was left..

It had some kind of oil on it, was greased to the base, totally clean on the inside (thankfully), but completely rotten.

Since everything looked fine on the inside it was the LOL moment of my morning.

Okay I'll be the first to make a smartass comment. Oh no just put some duct tape on it and wash it. Should last at least another season.

Thats better then the one that was on my IT when I got it.

Fixed.

But my lcal dealer did not have the right filter so now it has one of a blaster and we had to modify the cage to use it.
