The link was to the Small Engine Repair Reference Centre, part of a subscription database service run by EBSCO that was accessed via a public library somewhere. Unfortunately, it looks like they have changed their login/ password information :busted:.

If you have membership to a large public library or university it's quite likely you can access it.

Not sure if you have this already but this link:

http://hondatech.info/search/XR/600R/

will take you to a download for the Honda Workshop manual for the XR 600.

Hope this helps

Cheers

What about the XR650L? I can't seem to find anything there (or anywhere else) for that bike.

Actually, I'm only looking for an owner's manual right now, not a service manual. I'm used to Ducati that has owner's manuals available online for everything they've sold since 2001, available in PDF form.

If you join the Honda Rider's Club of America (HRCA.COM) You get to download any service manual and Honda Rider Magazine. Or try ebay and do a search on XR650L, There are service & repair manuals.
