Are there any changes from 06-08 on the klx110? I am looking at getting one and I was just wondering. Thanx

the 09's have the updated output shaft, and i think the 08's do also but im not sure of that

how does the output shaft help or what does it do?

output shaft is one of the transmission shafts, its drives sprocket, which turns rear wheel. earlier models had few problems and didnt hold up well and the output shafts got bent while riding it hard. course u can update that shaft as couple different mfg make new shafts for them.

he is correct, 08 and 09 both have the updated output shaft!!! Hardly looks different then the bbr one but like they always say that bbr does something different to theres to make it better

They are the same bike pretty much entirely. Don't be concerned about the output shaft unless you are running a stroker crank shaft or a bore kit.

alot of people on planetminis have said that they have broken their output shaft on their stocker. and the advantage that the bbr shaft has over any other on is that its also comes with a forged first gear.

the 08's and 09's have updated output shafts, otherwise there mostly the same.

the output shaft can be broken on any engine, it depends on how you ride it. i still have the stock shaft in my 134 that i ride very hard, and its fine.

the problem with them is they have a little hole drilled into them for oil, and the extra stress from the big bore, or whatever it is your running, puts to much on it and it cracks it. i just replaced my friends with an 08 shaft.
