Any trials competitions in western PA?

Hi everyone,

I bought a used Sherco 2.9 to wet my feet in the world of trials. Does anyone know of any events closer to where I live in western PA? The three closest clubs I've found are:

PA trials riders- events in eastern PA http://patrials.org/default.aspx

Trials Incorporated-events in OH, KY, and IN http://www.trialsinc.org/

District 4 trials- events in western NY http://www.district4trials.org/

If I can't find any closer events, I guess I'll just have to pack my tent and make a weekend of some of these clubs events.

You may want to PM BoomBoom - he lives in PA and is very active in 2 wheel motorsports of all sorts.

Depending on where you call "western PA", my guess is your closest organized trials events will be the Ohio events. D-6 trials are basicly located from Williamsport to Hanover. Follow the Susquehanna River from the bottom of the state to the top.

Never understood why trials was not more popular in western PA, every time I travel that way I just see trials sections everywhere.

I do make a couple trips to Mountain Ridge a year, the trials bike is always along, they have some great stuff to play on.

Thanks for the responses guys. Maybe I should change my handle to bluerider since my current ride ('07 YZ250) and my Sherco are both blue. I like the sound of redrider better though so I guess I'll just be PA Red.
