Flasher mounting

The flashing unit on my 07 te450 came from the dealer hanging behind the headlight cowling. It was never mounted to anything, it looks like it has a gap molded into it to mount to some kind of tab. I have zip tied it off to the other wires near the steering head, and has broken off twice now requiring replacement. My question is since the owners manual doesn't show where it mounts, can someone tell me where they have mounted theirs? Thanks

On my 06 TE510...which is essentially the same set-up, I believe the little bracket the flasher unit attaches to bolts to the top triple clamp (in the center). My stock bracket lasted about a year before it failed from vibration. I fabricated a new heavier duty bracket and bolted it to the stock location. It hasn't failed yet but, time will tell. Also, the stock bracket for the horn failed also.....remounted the horn/new bracket in another location.
