alright guys. haha im new to all this. i just adjusted my valves for the first time. never done internal work on a 4stroke before. i got everything done, and immediately after i torqued down the cam caps i realized the c clip wasnt in the grove completely. i replaced it but the cam is perfectly fine. the cam cap has a very slight nick in the grove for the c clip. i put everything back together, and it starts and seem to run fine now. should i replace the cam cap(along with the entire cylinder head) or should i be fine?

I would bet that it is probably OK, since it's just a nick in the metal and not something loose that is going to go floating around your engine while it is running at 10000 rpm or more. But someone more knowledgable than me may know differently.
