gripping with knees, graphics peeling??

hey tt'ers.

just want to see if many of you have this problem, lately ive been trying more and more to grip with my knees, but ofcourse i just bought a new one industries graphics kit:bonk: .

the air box one has peeled back, shrouds and number boards are getting scratched from the boots, they are axo rc6's

Buy another set of plastics and graphics , put the good set on when your bike is sitting in the garage so it can look good there , swap it over for ridding . My 08 looks like its 5 years old not because its abused or not maintaned . I use it for is intended purpose ridding not bike shows .

I buy sheets of a 3m clear plastic and stick over the top of my grafix, when they get 2 scratched or start lookn a bit shity i carefilly peel it off and put new ones on.

And if you have knee braces they like to first eat a hole through ur pants then chew ur shourds.

yer i got the asterisk knee braces, the pants are ok but.

shrouds arnt too bad, its minaly just the air box and thats were the bott is contacting, and a bit of the number board.

i guess ill just be taping them up every ride:foul: haha

but it is strange how some faster riding buddys of mine dont get it at all?

Get some stomp grip for your air box. I always use it and have awsome grip and seem's fairly durable.

My graphics won't stay on my tank (newer yz 250 smoker) for more than 4 rides. My knee's shred them right off..... Don't feel bad!!

I put brand new OEM style Factory Effex graphics on my KX450F a while ago, Both sides rolled up and peeled off within 5 hours of riding...I ended up just cutting them out where my knees contact the shroud...My airbox graphics never last long either...
