Blue FMF 4.1 exhaust

So i got a new blue FMF factory 4.1 last weekend, it was definatly blue when i bought it. I rode it one time, washed the bike, and noticed it is no longer blue. Now its more of a.......lavender. Did anyone else have this prob or am i just special and now have the fruitiest looking exhaust at the track?

This is common with blue anodizing and high temperatures. Just like when chrome blues on your neighbors open Harley pipes, the blue anodizing will change haze slightly.

This is why I would have popped for the orange/copper anodizing of the hardparts version of the FMF exhaust!

yeah it happens...my ti exhaust on my old 250f turned blue from a greyish colour
