Have we got a deal for you........

Recommended Posts

Hey TTers',

We have a few blemished Factory Team Replica 280mm Oversize rotor kits that we are discounting to $150. (includes rotor & caliper relocation bracket but not pads)

We are also throwing in free UPS ground shipping for TT members.

Just enter TT in the coupon code box during check out on our site.

Hey guys / gals,

We have gotten several orders already and some of you are using the TT coupon code, but a few have missed it. We'll adjust your order to deduct the shipping and feel free to take advantage of this offer and throw some other stuff in your order and we're happy to ship it all for free as long as you purchase one of these kits.

The rotors have light cosmetic scratches that will not effect performance or life of the rotor, but they can not be sold as new, so here's your chance to save a few bucks!

Here's a close up of the worst one, which will be the last one sold.

ROTORBLEMSO.jpg

We only have 8 or 9 of them, so order soon if you want one. (we'll pull them from our site and post here when they have all sold)

Click here for more info on our site

(Greg- if you read this, I already pulled out the two you want.)

EDIT:

Had a couple of requests for some detail shots- Here ya go.

One other thing-

In the 450R forum we got the following note form a member and this is important to us, so we'd love to hear any other feedback you might have.

I got banned for asking for a spring on the 250f forum. You might want to haul this over to the classifieds.:p

Hi Flyin-A,

Thanks for your comments.

We want to maintain our place as a valued member of the TT community and do our best to keep the signal to noise ratio balanced by providing tech articles and helping to answer members questions when we can. Even if it is not related to our products.

We don't want to come across as spamming the forums, even though as a forum sponsor we can make commercial posts, we try to keep it low pressure and to a minimum.

We are receptive to hearing how others feel about it as we don't want to create the image that our only concern is making sales here.

:ride:

Sincerely,

Scott Hart / CRF STUFF

First I have to say sponsers are what help keep the site going. Great deals like this are also a good thing for us on the board.

I'm hoping with you being a sponser it's not all going to be about selling stuff. Helpful info is also a good thing. I hope you will be able to help on some questions the members have. :p

BTW it look like you make some very nice stuff. Any plans for any other products?

You have some very cool stuff, Scott! I would like to try out the oversize rotor.

Hey Cubera,

Thanks for the nice comments. Unfortunately the blem kits sold out in less than 24 hours! But we have plenty of new kits in stock.

BTW, I have a 2005 450X that is plated for dual sporting here in Oregon. I have our big brake kit on it and it really works nice on the pavement. I was able to get the stock brakes to fade on one of our favorite twisty downhill mountain rides, but after upgrading, that problem went away. :p

Hi Old-Man,

Thanks for your comments. We have contributed a few tech tips already and are working on more. Next one will be a video on how to properly bleed your brakes. We're new as a company, but personally I have been an active TT member since 2002 under the user name Combat Wombat.

We do have some more products in development coming soon. Probably see 6-10 new products from us this year. We will be focusing on unique / exclusive products and as always, specifically for CRF's.

It's tempting to offer everything a rider might need, but places like Motosport Outlet, CRF's Only and the TT store do a good job of that. Our plan is to stick with best quality niche products for the bikes we ride.

We get lot's of requests to develop brake kits for other bikes, but from the outset we chose to focus on the big CRF's as that's what we ride and are knowledgeable / passionate about!

Scott, I have seen you around under your other name. :p

It will be nice to see more products this year. Please keep us posted when they come out.

The brake video will be great. Guys are always asking how to bleed them. :ride:

Hi Shane,

Our airfilter bolt (made by Napalm Racing) is about 1/8" longer and has a nice rounded tip on it.

1/8" doesn't sound like much, but it's just enough so that the knob is not bottoming out against the filtercage when you insert it, which gives you much more feel for centering the bolt. Plus the larger round knob is much easier to manipulate than the stock stamped wing screw. Works way better than we imagined.
