FMF SST factory dent

Recommended Posts

Can anybody tell me if a new FMF SST pipe for a 03 RM125 comes with an indentation on the inside to allow clearance for the bottom hose out of the right radiator? Last summer put some dents in the pipe. A friend popped them out using air pressure and heat. Maybe he should have left one from the factory. The pipe bolts on the bike just the hose touches the pipe and I am thinking that when the pipe gets hot the hose will melt.

The hose will melt, you could dent it back with a ball peen hammer.

I know the fmf fatty pipe for my 03 rm125 came with a couple of factory dents to allow for certain clearances (including by the rad hose), so I am assuming a fmf sst would have the same dents.

Thanks for the info

Ten minutes, three fittings and the round end of a 3/4 inch wrench and now the hose doesn't touch the pipe.
