03 yz450f engine noise

well i rode my 450 today and i heard a "tinging" from the motor. from idle all the way up. I was also really hard to kick from TDC. what could it be? valve clearances? the motor just had a new top end about 6 riding hours ago.

I say check the Vavles.

yea, check the valves, or MIGHT HAVE jumped time by 1 tooth.

did you notice any loss of power?

no loss in power at all, i checked the clearances and the timing seems ok. maybe it was just pinging.
