Stator cover oil leak

Recommended Posts

On my stator cover on my 2006 RFS I been having a Oil leak it's small but it still there only when it is running.

I have changed out the gasket and it still leaking I have tracked it down to where the wires come out of rubber gromet of the Stator cover I tryed to use some sealent on it but with no luck so far.:ride:

Like I said it is leaking not alot but it should not leak at all.:moon:

Anyone have any Ideas how to stop the leak beside don't put oil in it or don't run the motor Ha Ha.:p

when the cover is off put some sealnt on the rubber things face and by its edges, put gaskit on and tighten up.

Check the routing of your crankcase vent tube. If pinched, case pressure will cause oil to use any escape route it can find.
