New bike suprise!!

So i bought a used 2006 kx250f and I was putting in new clutch plates and springs on it and when i opened the right side cover there wasss................

a complete hinson clutch(basket, hub, and pressure plate) My question is i didnt buy any special clutch plates plates do i need to have anything different with the hinson components or will any kind of plates be ok i dont wanna ruin anything

just don't use kevlar reinforced plates. I'm thinking Barnett is the only one that has those.

whoa whoa if u got a complete hinson clutch please re use hinson friction plates believe me i tried using stock friction plates and it will causemajor gashes in ya clutch basket

Right in the hinson literature that comes with the clutch set, it says you can use any clutch plates except Kevlar reinforced ones. I also see EBC makes these along with Barnett. EBC also makes non kevlar plates though. I run stock plates in my hinson setup and it works awesome.
