need a picture of xr400 steering stops on the frame. (I know it sounds weird)

I extended mine long time ago so that the Scott's stabilizer wouldn't bottom out. I sold the bike to a friend. He's not using the stabilizer and now we want to "reshape" them back to original. I'm not sure how much I should grind them down.

this is what I have right now:

This is the left side. They are shaped like a triangle and extend 5/8" out from the frame. In your picture you can see the original front edge of the triangle. I would not grind any off that. Just follow that edge out 5/8" from the frame and cut it off there.
