throttle tube immediate help required

Recommended Posts

ok i NEED help i just got a sunline billet throttle tube for my 2006 wr250f and on the inside it has the nylon which lets it work on the bar, BUT the nylon is about 1 inch long at its at the end furthest from the actual bar end(the end with the actuator) and how you suggest i put it on without sticking the whole throttle tube on,

1 do i use glue because i fear that will just lock the whole thing on

2 do i use nothing and hope it just stays or what

sorry i have no photo just the link

Put the whole tube on,do not use glue!!The nylon is only there to reduce friction.Install tube, tighten screws on throttle body, install new grips and you should be good to go!Good luck!!

Look, just cut the grip off the throttle side on your bike. Slowly begin to take it apart by removing the screws around the throttle body. It will all make sense when you do this. I could have put on 500 throttle tubes since you initially posted this.
