question about storing my 09

Recommended Posts

since its winter my bike has been stored in my basement for a few months now. i was wondering if you are suppose to releave the pressure in the fuel line when having it stored and if so how do you do it and how crucial is it?

i would not worry about taking pressure off system. if its working correctly. our cars sit for years with same system.

My 09 sat in my unheated Ohio garage since the beginning of November until yesterday. I tore it apart to send out the suspension, install Ron's insert, Eddies' map, and I greased all the bearings. I put it back together and it fired up no problem on the 5th kick.

I did add Stabil to the last tank of gas but never touched the fuel lines.
