It was a beautiful day in the high desert, cool temperature with moist soil.

I always carry too much speed down this trail. Today I paid the price.

The trail doesn't quite tell the tale of the crash.

cool and moist sounds good here, just went from snowing to 80 degrees, and thats pushing it for hotness for me.

My GPS isn't working to keep track of mileage but I usually ride for around three hours, including all the photo stops. I seem to add about 1.3-1.5 gallons to refuel. Yesterday's jetting was 170/N3EJ #2/45.

It is indeed Moonrocks, aka Hungry Valley. Company is welcome, but hurry because winter is almost over. It snowed last night and this morning.

Those trails are awesome. I love some of those technical downhill spots. Looks like you could use a new tire though. haha
