I use the EVS RS-5 but I dont think they make them anymore but you can get EVS vision for like $225 a pair and they are pretty good and a BRACE not just a pad

Saved me from the operating room many times..........

Try EBAY is where I got mine for like $100

I've been using Six Six One knee pads for a long time, and they've held up quite well. I'm using the Kyle Strait model, that sells for around $50.00

They have a giant pad over the knee cap, they have padding on the inside of the knees, so you don't beat your knees against the tank, and they never slip down. The upper and lower straps hold 'em right where you put 'em, especially if you use knee brace socks. They don't have any sort of brace to 'em, and unfortunately, that's where I'm headed, so keep that in mind.

I've stress tested 'em a couple times on my mountain bike, which is what they're designed for, and they did what they were intended to do. Protect my knees, inside and out. You can find 'em here, and if you spend over $100.00 you get a discount.

i love any of the thor's. but i went to cycle gear a week ago, my brother bought these Alpinestars bionics. they look like street bike knee pads, so i was giving him a bunch of crap about them. so i try them on...........................and there incredible, i have never felt that comfortable of a knee guards. and they dont bind/drag when you move your leg. those will be my next pair for sure! :p and my brother doesn't wear long socks, and he still doesn't get a rash!http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/ProductImages/300/632937599129584674BionicKnee.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/6/10/1814/ITEM/Alpinestars-Bionic-Knee-Guard.aspx&usg=__N-awVpYjMIYQODRkrKZVhBgh_fw=&h=300&w=300&sz=9&hl=en&start=7&um=1&tbnid=sP7cZrwfk-5CaM:&tbnh=116&tbnw=116&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dalpinestar%2Bbionic%26hl%3Den%26rls%3Dcom.microsoft:*:IE-SearchBox%26rlz%3D1I7TSHB_enUS304%26sa%3DN%26um%3D1

I just picked up a set of EVS Vision braces...Haven't ridden with them yet but they fit pretty good. Found em on line for $117 for the pair. Saw them @ Cycle gear here in town for $150 as well. They were running at $275 which is what stopped me from getting them earlier.... I am a tight wad....but I couldn't pass up saving over 50%

I like the Vision braces too. had mine for quite a while, and saved my bacon a few times. but I've found the 1/2 inch gap between boots and braces a couple times too.
