Supermoto front caliper...

Recommended Posts

So, This morning on my fun day of mechanics, I Messed up my front caliper..

No, I don't want to talk about it.

What are some cheaper aftermarket brake setups that some of you guys run?

Figure If I'm going to spend money might aswell upgrade right?

Aloha.

Aftermarket calipers aren't usually cheaper...your best bet may be to buy a used OEM caliper off Ebay or from someone here who upgraded to Brembo's. I like the idea of trick aftermarket brake calipers but the cost is always more than my budget will allow. You should be able to get a good used caliper for

under $45 which is better than the $275 the dealer wants. Are you comparing the aftermarket caliper prices to the full dealer price? You may be better off to consider a used oem caliper and a set of steel braided lines...just my opinion of what I would do unless I was a hard core track guy.

Well, did some more research and I guess I was asking for the cheaper of the aftermarket brands, the beringer is the cheapest, And one I'll probably choose..

But quick question I did fix my stock caliper and put the new pads, but now I got this metal thing and dunno where it goes..can some one point me in the right direction?
