1982 yz490 clutch problems

I have a 1982 yz490 and recently I was riding and the clutch just stop engaging. The lever on the Tranny will not move and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this bike or experienced something like it. I was wondering if there is any schematics on the tranny on the internet that could show me how to split the tranny and possibly fix it? Another thing I was wondering is where can i get new rings and gaskets because I need to swap my cylinder? thanks

Those bikes were bad about the main clutch hub nut coming loose...Have you taken the right cover off and looked at the clutch assy ? You don't have to split the cases to inspect the clutch !

Yes i have taken the right cover off and the hub nut is not loose. when you pull the clutch in it the lever on the transmission actuates but the clutch does nothing ? . Also is there a special way to recoil the kickstart spring?

I found this website and im planning to do a complete rebuild is there a better site for info like this?
