Kientech Valve Adjustment tools

I am quickly approaching my 600 mile service. Anyone use the Kientech Engineering valve adjustment kit?

I am all for having the right tool for the job, but don't want to throw money away. I have done valve adjustments on a KLR 250 (locknut type valve adjustment) and have feeler gauges, etc...Is there an advantage to Jesse's feeler gauges versus the craftsman set in my toolbox?

If you have this set, do you feel it is worth the money?

I don't have the set, however i do use a set of feeler gauges that are bent at the tip ... i hope this is of some help to you.

I did mine without Kientech's kit. There isn't a whole lot of room to work with and the threaded adjusters are sometimes hard to keep from moving when you tighten the lock nut. Any feeler gauge with a bend at the end will work, the advantage is the other part of the kit that holds the adjuster. Next valve adjust I will probably order the kit to make things easier.

Hi Elisdad, I bought a set and they do make the task much easier, they are not expensive and a good adition to anyones tool kit.
