powdercoating engine case

would it be an issue powdercoating an engine case? would it make my bike overheat? somehow gear oil and crank oil is exchanging back and forth on my newly rebuilt bike and if i have to take this damn thing apart again i want a black freakin motor!

I would have powedercoated mine but no need to disassemble engine. I painted mine.

No need to take it apart. Just replace the crank seals as they come out and install without splitting the cases. That's about the only way other than a cracked case can the two fluids mix. But if your going to have them PC'd then never mind. But then you will have to remove everything from the cases.
