dynojet jet kit question

Recommended Posts

working on an atv for my brother, stock jetting is:

45 pilot

152 main

fixed needle

not sure on the fuel screw.

Put an FMF powerline slip-on on it and bought a dynojet kit so I could get the adjustable needle. My question is the kit recommends:

45 pilot

146 main

3rd clip on the needle

3 1/2 turns out on the fuel screw.

my biggest issue is the fuel screw, everything I have read said any more then 3 turns out on the screw means a bigger pilot. So what recommendations for a starting point on the pilot, also main seems small as well.:p

machine is a 2003 honda rubicon. we ride between 4500 ft and 10500 ft, winter and summer. (0 deg - 100 deg)

the dynojet needle has a different taper so it uses different main jet.

ideally a abigger pilot jet would be good but i would just install the kit per the instructions.it will run fine.
