Athena big bore = more vibe.s?

Should I expect more engine vibe.s if I install a Athena big bore and a set of HotCams?? I'm thinking, bigger piston = more vibes on the hiway..

Anyone know if the Athena piston is lighter or heavier than the stock one???

The Athena is nice. I like it better than the FCR. I did the Athena first and it works very well with a jetted stock carb. The Athena will actualy smooth to almost no vibration and around 55 to 65mph. I use this as my cruising speed. And you can always gear it to cruise at what speed you want.

Athena uses wössner piston ,forged ,light weight and durable.

Lighter = less vibes and less strain on the bottom end as well...

whenever you do motor mods your going to get more vibes.after all the mods ive done there really not that much more vibration.you probally wont notice if you had more vibes with the athena BB kit anyways because the drz is so smooth to start with.

Didn't feel any more vibrations than stock displacement, I'm using the athena kit.

Think the weight of the flywheel affects the vibes more.

If you have held the crank ,you know what's the heavy moving part...

Didnt feel much of a difference in vibes at speed with the stroker/bb ,, maybe a bit more at idle but not much like you would expect from a real vibrator manufacturer like ktm.
