VF2 vs. VF3?

Recommended Posts

One of my reeds on my VF2 broke. So i'm wondering, should I replace the reeds, or go w/ a VF3's? new reads are almost $60, and a whole new cage and reeds cost around $130.

and has any1 tried both, and if so, is there any difference?

I think the v-force3's break reed pedals quicker than the VF2's.Im not sure what your putting them into, but in my bigbore 250r's I wont use anything except the duncan reed cages, they are the best, for a built motor!!!The throttle response is night and day from the vf's!IMHO

and another thing, what happened to Boyseen reeds? does no1 like them anymore? cuz they seem kinda hard to find the cage.

The boyesen cage is a good low-end cage, and there are a few still around! That cr will come alive with a duncan cage!

Its pricey, and I can tell you I ve had many, many drag 250r's and they run much smoother, and produce more power on the dyno runs than the VF' 2's and 3's!
