I got new fenders for my dr350...

Recommended Posts

I had read somewhere that a rmz250 fender from 2000+ would fit ( rear)

and ordered the ascerbis supermotard fender in front.

rear fender, none of the rear bolt holes line up, it DOES sort of fit, if I cut it up massively, and drill all new holes.

the front looks pretty silly being so short with such long forks. ( since its mounted right under the triple tree)

so, basically I wasted some money trying to make this old beater bike look better, I hate that too, its such a cool bike.

I like the rear, it took lots of trimming, and its still not mounted for good, but it will fit and work.

IM unsure of the SM front fender, It might grow on me though.

here are some pretty weak pics.

That rear fender will need some serious trimmimg to match the lines of the bike. Jesse at Kientech sells the Maier universal MX fender, perfect fit. It is more rounded than the one you have however.

Not sure on the RMZ but I am going to use 2003 RM 250 fenders. Took some cutting on the frame but not to the fender. I do not have the bike together right now because its out to powder coating but these are pictures of when I fit the front and rear fenders.

its been trimmed.

the maier fender is more expensive, requires hole drilling ( from what I have read), and is only available in white.

I will post some pics with this one actually mounted, and not just wedgded in place.

that looks great, really an updated look, as I was going for as well.

OK, been a while, ive been busy with other stuff.

I can make the rear fender workable.

It will be difficult to find a valid sized tail light for it though.

On my bike with the RM fenders I got a UFO LED tail light. My fenders are UFO so the light tucks up under the rear fender. Looks good I think. Wish the light was a little brighter though.

Only shot of the finished product with the rear light.
