CDI Unit...

Recommended Posts

Here is one i've not really looked into, but gone ahead with anyway!

I've aquired a DRZ 'E' CDI Unit, hoping that the ignition timing map is slightly different. A couple friends and bike enthusiasts think that the timing map will make a huge difference, and i'm going to agree (Expecially after riding the 'E' compared to the 'S')

So.... Opinions Please lol

Ps. I have checked the part numbers, they are different, which is a bonus...

500rpm would be very welcome!

Bit dissapointed that there isn't any advancement on the ignition timing.... althought i should be able to advance the timing on my hotcams? Or am i thinking on the wrong lines here?

No... as Eddie said just a minor rpm limit change , but really a minor .

Even the 60hp monsters have the stock 's/'sm cdi .
