Good OTD price for a leftover '06 YZ450, blue?

Contemplating getting one, and one of my favorite dealers has an '06 for sale....what's everyone seeing for these?

They also have '08's leftover, anyone have info on those as well?

I have seen leftover '06's here for $3,999, '08's are $4,999. Both are + tax, lic., and dealer prep.

Unlimited cycle center. They have their 08's priced at $4000 if I remember correctly. I'm 99% sure the 450's are gone now. Three of my buddy's bought one on the same day.

I would call around to all of the dealerships in your area and see if you can get them to complete for you business. If you can get them into a discount war to sell you a bike that would be the best!

When I bought my 450 in the spring of 2008, I was looking for a carryover model to save some $$. I called 10 or so dealerships and prices ranged from $5500 for an '06 carry over to $4195 for an 07 carry over. Why the long story about this? It just shows that dealerships have quite a wide range on prices. So call around. Since the gas prices dropped it may be worth it to you to drive a couple hours to save some $$. If you do this make sure that you get the final price over the phone with assembly, freight charges, and taxes.
